IC 5372 is a lens-shaped galaxy of the Hubble type S0 in the constellation Andromeda in the northern sky . It is estimated to be 470 million light years from the Milky Way and about 70,000 light years in diameter.
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies IC 5370 , IC 5371 , IC 5373 .
The object was discovered by Stéphane Javelle on November 9, 1899 .
