IC 15 is an elliptical galaxy from the Hubble type E0 in the constellation Cetus south of the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 621 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of about 75,000 ly.
In the same area of the sky are the galaxies IC 21 and IC 25 .
The object was discovered by Stéphane Javelle on August 27, 1892 .
