NGC 7797 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sbc in the constellation Pisces on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 400 million light years from the Milky Way and about 115,000 light years in diameter.
The object was discovered by William Herschel on December 6, 1790 .
