NGC 7792 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sb in the constellation Pegasus at the northern sky . It is estimated to be 582 million light years from the Milky Way and about 170,000 light years in diameter.
The object was discovered by Édouard Stephan on September 20, 1873 .
