IC 1508 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type SD in the constellation Pegasus at the northern sky . It is estimated to be 197 million light years from the Milky Way and about 90,000 light years across.
The type Ic supernova SN 2006dg was observed here.
The object was discovered by Stéphane Javelle on December 6, 1893 .
