IC 1506 is a spiral galaxy from the Hubble type S in the constellation fish on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 434 million light years from the Milky Way and about 90,000 light years in diameter.
The object was discovered by Stéphane Javelle on August 4, 1892 .
