The Bucharest FC was a Romanian football club from Bucharest . He was Romanian runners-up three times between 1913 and 1916 during the romantic era of Romanian football.
history
The Bucharest FC was founded by German workers in 1912 and therefore has a German name. After Olympia Bucharest and Colentina Bucharest, it was the third football club in the Romanian capital and thus contributed significantly to the spread of football in the city. The club took part in the competitions for the Romanian football championship in the first year of its existence and was runner-up three times. In 1913 the Bucharest FC won the Alexandru Bellio Cup, in 1913 and 1915 the Harwaster Cup, which in those years were not counted as a tournament for the Romanian football championship.
After the outbreak of World War I , the foreign workers - and thus also the Germans - left Romania. As a result of the loss of members, the association was finally dissolved in 1916.
