Bouclé ( French bouclé "ring", "locke", "loop", "loop"), also Buklee , describes a fabric with a surface similar to the grosgrain weave . The fabric can be used for dresses and coats . Bouclé is made partly or entirely from hair yarn and fancy twine , often using knots , knobs and loops . Bouclé is not very sensitive and hardly wrinkles.

Bouclé yarn used to be spun from the hair of dogs , cats and cows and processed into carpets .
