BulgariaSat-1 is a commercial communications satellite owned by the Bulgarian BulgariaSat , which is connected to the Bulgarian television broadcaster Bulsatcom .
BulgariaSat-1 was on June 23, 2017 19:10 UTC with a Falcon 9 - carrier rocket from the rocket launch pad 39A of the Kennedy Space Center to from All brought on 3 July, reaching its geostationary position. It went into operation on November 23, 2017.
The three-axis stabilized satellite with 33 Ku-band - transponders for two separate illumination zones equipped and provided from the position 1.9 degrees East West and Central Europe and the Balkan , the northern part of Africa and the Middle East telecommunications services (three transponders) and TV (30 transponders).
