Bums is a German punk band from Eislingen , which was founded in the 1980s and took a break in the late 1990s.

The band became known through the releases of BVB fan songs. From 1992, however, Bums was presented to a wider audience under the name Fluchtpunkt Terror through contributions to the scene sampler Schlachtrufe BRD . In 1995 the band name was changed back to Bums and the first studio album was released, namely "Vanishing Point Terror". More songs for the battle cry and the German Punkinvasion sampler series followed. In 1998, Bums released the second album, Räum auf! on the market. In 2008 the band got together again for two concerts in Dortmund. To mark the 100th anniversary of Borussia Dortmund, Bums released the new album Neun Zehn Null Neun on November 13, 2009 . On May 13th and 15th, 2011 they played two concerts in Dortmund to celebrate the Dortmund championship . On the 15th in front of several hundred thousand people on the official stage in front of the Westfalenhallen .

At the end of 2011, the return to punk was celebrated with the CD "The story is not over yet".

Since 2015 the band is back on tour with "Article 5". Article 5 is the band's answer to the allegations of the Office for the Protection of the Constitution, to which the band has assumed a left-wing extremist background. The band has been taking a musical break since 2018.
