Battle cries BRD
Schlachtrufe BRD is an irregular sampler series with selected punk songs.
The first edition appeared on May 1, 1990, the subsequent editions mostly at intervals of one to three years. The musical spectrum usually ranges between punk rock , Oi! and hardcore punk . The majority of the musical contributions on the samplers are represented by German bands.
The compilation is politically autonomous and left - wing extremist. It was initially published by the “AM Music” label , and now the rights are held by “ Nix-Gut Records ”.
The success of the sampler series is primarily due to a monitor report in which parents were asked to search their children's CD collection for “Battle Calls BRD Vol. I”, as the texts on this CD glorify violence.
The second part of the sampler series is available in two different versions. The first version features the song “No Gerede” by the group WIZO . After this song was indexed for inciting terrorism , it was replaced by the song "Be affected" by the band Public Toys .

The sampler was released on May 1, 1992. After the WIZO song Kein Gerede was the cause of the indexing of the album Für'n Arsch by the Federal Testing Office for Media Harmful to Young People (BPjM) in 1995 , the sampler was taken off the market and re-released without the piece . The BPjM saw the play as a “call for violence against democracy”.

Tribute sampler German punk battle cry 2018
On February 2, 2018, the Berlin label Funk Turry Funk released a tribute sampler for the battle cries BRD. The sampler was published digitally under the title Deutschpunk Schlachtrufe 2018 . Its proceeds will be donated to Kein Bock auf Nazis . 21 bands covered German-language punk songs.
