Capitulation BoNn is a German punk rock band founded in 1989 . The band from Hessen plays German punk with socially critical and political to radical texts.
According to the band, the name BoNn not only stands for the former seat of government , but also for every other place in the world.
history
In April 1989 singer Rainer, guitarist Stephan, bassist Clemens and drummer Oliver founded the German punk band Kapitulation BoNn, which played their first concert in a youth center in Wetzlar on September 30th of the same year . In early 1990 the band made their first demo recordings . Two years later the band was represented on the German Punksampler Schlachtrufe BRD II . In 1993 they released their debut album Stille Nacht and were featured on the sampler Die deutsche Punkinvasion . In the same year guitarist Stephan left the band and was replaced by Guy S. In 1994 Jens K. replaced the second guitarist Christian. The second album Feuer! was released in 1996 and the album Blut followed a year later . In 1998 Capitulation BoNn went on the "Schlachtrufe BRD Festival Tour" together with Bums , Die Zusamm-Rottung and Daily Terror . In 2003 guitarist Guy was replaced by Basti and the band began rehearsing for the new album Helden , which was released in April 2004.
