Betontod is a German punk rock - band from Rheinberg . In addition to seven studio albums, the band released two live albums and played their 1000th concert on December 17, 2016.

history

The band was founded in Rheinberg in the early 1990s. First it was called Extreme , later Sniffin 'Kills and finally it was called Betontod . With the album Schwarzes Blut , the band first attracted a lot of attention in 2006 and toured with the German punk band Hass , among others .

In recent years she has appeared at the Force Attack Festival, the Schlachtrufe BRD Tour , the Punk-im-Pott Festival, the Spirit from the Street Festival , the Ruhrpott Rodeo and Rock am Turm . In 2011, 2012 and 2018 they performed at the Wacken Open Air , in 2012 at the Rockharz Open Air and the Summer Breeze .

In 2010 the band founded their own independent label Better Than Hell . The first release was the album GlaubeLiebeHoffnung , which reached the top 100 of the German album charts for the first time . After the album Antirockstars , the label opened up to other bands like Saitenfeuer , Kitty in a Casket , Kärholz and Toxpack . On August 31, 2012, Betontod's album Sorry for Nothing was released , which was produced by Vincent Sorg and on which the band tried out new styles of music, such as Ska and Metal . With the album they achieved a top 10 position in the German charts. In 2013 the band was booked for the Full Metal Cruise and also played at festivals such as the Elbriot Festival or With Full Force . In October 2013 their first live DVD Viva Punk - With full throttle through hell was released . The studio album Traum von Freiheit was released on February 27, 2015.

The album Revolution was announced for January 13, 2017. The German actor Ralf Richter has a guest role in the third single I will take you with me .
