Saitenfeuer is a German-speaking rock band from the Leipzig area .
history
Saitenfeuer was founded in 2008 in Frohburg , Saxony , and tours Germany regularly. The band itself comes from the region and most of its members live in Leipzig.
Two years after the band was founded, the band released their self-produced debut album Auf und Davon . In 2011 Saitenfeuer was signed to the Better Than Hell label . They played Auf and Davon again, supplemented by two new songs and an acoustic version of Engel .
In 2013 guitarist Jens "Eichi" Eichler was replaced by Roberto "Norbi" Weise. In the same year, the second studio album No Back was released. This was followed by the No Back Tour , Saitenfeuer's first headlining tour.
In 2015 guitarist Weise was replaced by Stefan Kern. Metalspiesser took over the management of the band. The new label was SPV .
