In the same year the split LP with Bad Nasty from France , which had been recorded in the original line-up, was released. Chris joined in 2005 as second guitarist. In 2007 the band initiated a three Days during the festival on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the band's existence, at which well-known bands from the scene, including The Restarts, Stage Bottles , BILDungslücke, Rejected Youth and Antidote , Molotow Soda , Rawside and Los Fastidios, performed 12 a festival for the 15th anniversary of the band.

2008 singer Danny worked as an actor in the punk film Chaostage - We Are Punks! (Director: Tarek Ehlail ). The band also contributed a song for the film and acted in smaller roles. The celebrations for the film premiere on October 3rd in Hanover also represented the band's last weekend together with Floppy on bass, who left the band at the beginning of October for personal reasons. Daniel, a long-time friend, became the new bass player. Thus the band again consisted exclusively of members from Giessen.

In 2009 the drummer Stine left the band and was replaced by Max, who appeared for the first time with the plague pox on August 7, 2009 in Nuremberg. Further line-up changes included Daniel's departure as part of the 15-year-old plague festival, which was replaced by Eddy, and Chris' departure at the end of the European tour in spring 2013, which was followed by Tom (long-time friend of the band and producer of the album "No Love for a Nation ") was replaced.

In February 2012, the split album with Bad Nasty (2003) was indicated by the BPjM as harmful to young people.

Texts

Pestpox song lyrics are typical of the punk genre and are mainly directed against Germany's basic political order, state power and corruption, as well as against the right-wing scene and hooligans. In addition, general topics such as alcohol, friendship and the punk scene are taken up. The band can definitely be classified as radical left, as they repeatedly call for violence against police officers and political opponents in their lyrics.
