Ausbruch is a punk band from Aachen .
Band history
Ausbruch was founded in mid-1981 under the name "Sparmaßnahme", which was based on their sparse equipment and the fact that none of them had ever been able to play an instrument before. A year later the group renamed itself Ausbruch. By winning a band competition held by the Rockfabrik in Übach-Palenberg , the group was able to visit a recording studio and record five pieces there, which were released on the samplers Hardcore-Power Part 2 and We Don't Need Nuclear Force (both by Mülleimer Records) . The group received a contract with the Bochum label Roof Music , where they released their debut album Harte Zeiten (1985, 'Ausbruch 001'). After several appearances with Normahl , The Adicts and the UK Subs , the LP Auf alten Zeiten was recorded in 1989 , but initially not released. Then the group broke up. The album Auf alten Zeiten was released on CD in 1994 by Impact Records.
Re-releases
Individual songs were later re-released. ( I´ve got a picture on the first part of the punk sampler series Schlachtrufe BRD , Deutschland brennt und Wehr dich auf Those were still times (Snake Records), your freedom to welcome to night dream melody II (Impact Records)).
A re-release of the Harte Zeiten LP appeared in 1989 on Rude Records as an LP and in 1997 as a CD via AM Music with changed cover artwork. Finally, Harte Zeiten was reissued by Twisted Chords Records in 2014.
Start-up
On November 20 and 21, 2015, two reunion concerts took place in the Wild Rover Aachen with the original cast, which were spread over two evenings due to the high demand. Since then, Ausbruch have been giving concerts in Germany more or less regularly, which are announced on their Facebook page. A new sound carrier was recorded at the end of 2016 and will be available from Twisted Chords from September 1, 2017.
