Association of Taxpayers (Switzerland)

The Federation of Taxpayers ( BdS ) is an association founded in 1995 under Swiss law (Art. 60ff. ZGB ) with its seat in Zurich . Politically, he is close to the Swiss People's Party (SVP). The BdS campaigns for low taxes, against national debt and against high wages for administrative employees and members of executive bodies in Switzerland . He describes himself as non-party. With regard to the party affiliations of the board members and the programmatic priorities of the BdS, however, a close proximity to the SVP can be seen.

According to its own information, the BdS has around 2,900 members. He is politically active primarily in the canton of Zurich .
