Alfred "Fredi" Marius Heer (born October 12, 1961 in Zurich ; resident in Glarus ) is a Swiss politician ( SVP ). He has been a member of the National Council since 2007 .

Political activities

The small business was one from 1994 to 1998 the city council of Zurich on, from 1995 to 2008 the Cantonal Council of the Canton of Zurich . He has been a member of the National Council since the 2007 elections . From April 2009 to April 2016 he was President of the SVP of the Canton of Zurich. He has been a member of the Swiss delegation to the Council of Europe since 2011, and its President from 2016 to 2018. Under his presidium, "the Swiss have once again intensified their fight against felt and corruption". He has been a member of the auditing delegation (GPDel) since 2015 and its President since 2020 (up to and including 2021). As of 2020, he is also a member of the Business Audit Commission NR and President of its sub-commission FDJP / BK NR.

Private

Army is federal. dipl. Merchant. Together with Mauro Tuena , he is the managing director of C and E GmbH . He is President of the Association of Taxpayers and Board Member of the Audiatur Foundation in Zurich. He is a soldier in the Swiss Army .

Heer was married to an Italian until 2003 and has a grown daughter. He is a Swiss-Italian citizen and lives in Zurich.
