Judith Sarah Bellaïche Jäger (* 1971 , resident in Binningen and Pfäfers - Vättis ) is a Swiss politician ( glp ). She was elected to the National Council in 2019 . Since May 2019 she has been managing director of Swico , a trade association for the Swiss ICT and online industry.

Judith Bellaïche studied law at the University of Basel and graduated with a licentiate. In 2017 she completed an Executive MBA in General Management at the University of St. Gallen . She worked in the financial industry for several years and co-founded a start-up. After entering politics, she focused exclusively on this before taking over the management of the Swico business association in 2019.

Political activity

For eight years, Judith Bellaïche was a councilor in her community in Kilchberg, Zurich . She was head of the building construction, real estate and planning department. In 2011 she was elected to the Zurich Cantonal Council. There she was a member of the Intergroup Conference from 2015 to 2019. She has been a member of the WAK Commission for Economy and Taxes since 2015. She was elected to the National Council on the occasion of the 2019 National Council elections. Among other things, she campaigned for start-ups that are affected by the economic consequences of the Covid 19 pandemic, as well as for legal security for whistleblowers.

Private life

Judith Bellaïche is married and has two sons. She lives with her family in Kilchberg in the canton of Zurich.
