Tiana Angelina Moser (born April 6, 1979 in Zurich ) is a Swiss politician ( Green Liberals ). She has been a national councilor since 2007 .

education

Tiana Moser graduated from high school in Winterthur in 2000. She then studied political science , environmental science and constitutional law at the University of Zurich from 2000 to 2006 , where she graduated with a licentiate. From 2002 to 2003 she was on an exchange at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona . Between 2005 and 2010 she was a research assistant at the professorship for environmental policy and environmental economics at the ETH Zurich, where she dealt with the ecosystem services of the forest. In addition to German, she also speaks French, English and Spanish.

Political activity

She has been a member of the Green Liberal Party since 2004 and has been on the board since spring 2005. In the elections on October 21, 2007 , she was elected to the National Council of the Canton of Zurich . On the occasion of the 2011 and 2015 elections, she was confirmed as a member of the National Council. On October 29, 2011 she was elected by the new glp parliamentary group as its first group leader and in November 2015 unanimously confirmed in her office by the parliamentary group. In her first term of office she was a member of the Commission for Science, Education and Culture (WBK). She has been a member of the State Political Commission (SPK) since 2015 and a member of the National Council's Foreign Policy Commission (APK) since 2011. There she represents a Europe-friendly course.

Private life

Tiana Moser grew up in Weisslingen in the Zurich Oberland , has three sons and a daughter and lives in Zurich. She is in a relationship with the SP National Councilor Matthias Aebischer .
