Maja Ingold (born May 23, 1948 in Winterthur ) is a Swiss politician ( EPP ).

Life

Ingold sat from January 1997 to April 2002 on the municipal council of Winterthur. At the same time, she was a member of the Constitutional Council of the Canton of Zurich from 2000 to 2002 . From May 2002 to May 2010 she was a city ​​councilor in Winterthur and headed the social department.

At the end of May 2010 she took over the seat of the National Council of resigned party colleague Ruedi Aeschbacher . She was re-elected in the 2011 and 2015 elections. As a national councilor, she was a member of the legal and business audit commissions. In parliament she mainly dealt with legal, social and environmental issues. The focus of their efforts was on the integration of disabled people into the labor market.

She resigned in November 2017. Nik Gugger took over her seat .

Ingold is married and has three children.
