Hans Egloff (born November 27, 1959 in Aesch ) is a Swiss politician ( SVP ). He was elected to the National Council for the canton of Zurich in the Swiss parliamentary elections in 2011 and re-elected in the 2015 parliamentary elections. He is also President of the Swiss Homeowners Association .

biography

After the Matura type C in 1979, Egloff attended the primary school teacher college in Zurich until 1981 , from which he graduated with the primary school teacher certificate. He then worked as a primary school teacher in Geroldswil until 1983 . In the same year he began studying law at the University of Zurich , which he completed until 1988 , where he obtained a lic. iur. completed. In parallel to his studies, Egloff worked from 1985 to 1987 as a part-time employee at SBV (investment advice). In 1989 and 1990 he was an auditor at the Zurich District Attorney's Office and at the Horgen District Court , where he became Chairman of the Arbitration Authority in Rental Matters and Legal Secretary in 1990. From 1990 to 1991 he was legal secretary at the jury of the canton of Zurich and then until 1998 district judge at the district court of Zurich. He was admitted to the bar in 1998 and is now a partner in a law firm.

Hans Egloff is married, lives in Aesch and works in Zurich.

Political career

Egloff is a founding member of the Junge SVP and was president of the Aesch section from 1992 to 1998. He has been a board member of the Cantonal Party since 1995 and was President of the Dietikon District Party from 1998 to 2004. From 1995 to 2011 he was a Cantonal Councilor and a member of the Cantonal Council's Judicial Commission, since 2007 its President. In 2003 and 2004, Egloff was a member of the Justice and Public Security Commission of the Cantonal Council. He has been a member of the National Council since 2011 . He will no longer run in the 2019 National Council elections.

Egloff is Co-President of the Limmattalbahn and OC President of the 26th Zurich Cantonal Rifle Festival 2018.

Homeowners Association

Egloff got involved early on for homeowners and from 1995 was a board member of the Zurich parliamentary group "Housing & Real Estate". Between 1996 and 2000 he was president of the homeowner section Birmensdorf-Uitikon-Aesch and member of the board of the regional association Limmattal. Since 1997 he has been a member of the board of directors of the HEV Kanton Zurich and since 1999 its president. In 2004 he was elected to the board of the HEV Switzerland, became a member of the executive committee of the HEV Switzerland in 2005 and has been president of the association since 2012.
