Bruno Walliser (born April 11, 1966 in Volketswil ; entitled to live in Mosnang and Volketswil) is a Swiss politician ( SVP ).

Walliser is a master chimney sweep and combustion controller. He is the owner of a company in Volketswil that has around ten employees and specializes in the inspection and cleaning of combustion systems such as wood, oil and gas heating.

Political career

From 1998 to 2002 Walliser was a member of the Volketswil municipal council, and from 2002 to 2017 he was mayor. From 1999 to 2016 he was a member of the Zurich Cantonal Council and its President from 2013 to 2014. He was elected to the National Council in the Swiss parliamentary elections in 2015 . There he is on the Legal Affairs Commission. Walliser is Vice President of the Oberlandstrasse Association and advocates the completion of the A53 between Uster and Hinwil in parliament . He is a member of founded on the initiative of the beverage manufacturers lobby group for soft drinks IG soft drinks .
