Rundschau (SRF)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Rundschau is a political and economic program on Swiss Radio and Television (SRF). The magazine is one of the longest-running programs on SRF, it has existed since 1968 and is now broadcast weekly on Wednesday evening at 8:05 p.m. on SRF 1 . The moderators are Nicole Frank and Dominik Meier. In addition, together they moderate the special edition “Rundschau Talk” four times a year. Mario Poletti has been the editorial manager since March 2013.

The content of the program consists of reports from the areas of domestic and foreign policy, economy and society (for a time the Rundschau concentrated entirely on foreign topics, the domestic topics were covered by the CH magazine). From 1994 onwards there was a critical interview with a studio guest on the so-called hot seat . Since summer 2013, with the redesign of the show, the hot chair has been replaced by an interview at a counter.

Earlier moderators included Hans Peter Stalder , Heiner Gautschy , Erich Gysling , Hannes Britschgi , Reto Brennwald , Urs Leuthard , Sonja Hasler , Susanne Wille and Sandro Brotz .
