Rosmarie Quadranti
Rosmarie Quadranti-Stahel (born July 18, 1957 in Lucerne ; resident in Volketswil ) is a Swiss politician ( BDP ). From 2011 to 2019 she was a national councilor .
Life and work
Rosmarie Quadranti is a clerk. From 2000 to 2018 she was President of the Volketswil School Maintenance Department.
Since March 2013 she has been President of the Kibesuisse Association (Association of Childcare Switzerland, Association of KiTaS and Day Families Switzerland). She has been President of the Foundation Board of the Pestalozzi Trogen Children's Foundation since 2015 . In 2018 she was elected President of the Swiss Music Council.
Among other things, she was a volunteer Samaritan teacher at the Volketswil Samaritan Association, a member and president of the Volketswil women's team and a driver for BEGU (conditionally healthy). She served as a driver in the women's military service and was a member of the Volketswil civil defense.
With her husband Bruno Quadranti († 2016) she has three grown children and lives in Illnau today , previously in Kindhausen (Volketswil) from her youth.
politics
From 1988 to 2009 Quadranti was a member of SVP Volketswil and in 2009 joined the newly founded Civic Democratic Party (BDP). The BDP is considered the party of the center because of its great agreement with the referendums. In 2011 she was elected to the National Council in the Swiss parliamentary elections in the canton of Zurich , and in 2015 she was re-elected and President of the BDP . She was not re-elected in the 2019 parliamentary elections.
She has been a member of the management team at BDP Switzerland since 2012. In 2017 she was elected President of the BDP Zurich cantonal party.
