Bundesliga database

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Bundesliga database was the official database of the Bundesliga . It was operated by the company IMP (Innovative Media Technology and Planning AG). The database has been called the Impire database since the 2006/07 season, as the DFL no longer exclusively assigned the rights to the statistical constitution of the Bundesliga games to one provider.

After the private broadcaster Sat.1 got the free TV rights to the Bundesliga in 1992, the then Sat.1 sports director Reinhold Beckmann set up a soccer database. From 1992 to 2003 the database was called the ran database, named after the program ran - Sat.1 Bundesliga , in which the summaries of the Bundesliga games were shown. 26 permanent and 70 freelance employees are required to operate the database. In addition to television broadcasters (including ARD , Sport1 ), sports magazines, newspapers and internet offerings, customers also include some Bundesliga soccer clubs.
