Bundestag constituency Plön
The Bundestag constituency Plön was a constituency in Schleswig-Holstein for the elections to the German Bundestag . It comprised the district of Plön and the district of Oldenburg in Holstein and, since 1972, the northern part of the district of Ostholstein .
history
The constituency of Plön had constituency number 7. It was formed for the 1965 federal election from parts of the former constituencies of Plön - Eutin / North and Oldenburg - Eutin / South . The area of the constituency remained unchanged for the federal elections from 1965 to 1972.
Before the 1976 federal election, the constituency was split up. The area of the district of Plön went to the newly formed constituency Plön - Neumünster and the northern part of the district of Ostholstein to the new constituency of Ostholstein .
