The Bundestag constituency Plön was a constituency in Schleswig-Holstein for the elections to the German Bundestag . It comprised the district of Plön and the district of Oldenburg in Holstein and, since 1972, the northern part of the district of Ostholstein .

history

The constituency of Plön had constituency number 7. It was formed for the 1965 federal election from parts of the former constituencies of Plön - Eutin / North and Oldenburg - Eutin / South . The area of ​​the constituency remained unchanged for the federal elections from 1965 to 1972.

Before the 1976 federal election, the constituency was split up. The area of ​​the district of Plön went to the newly formed constituency Plön - Neumünster and the northern part of the district of Ostholstein to the new constituency of Ostholstein .
