Friedrich-Karl Storm

Friedrich-Karl Storm (born May 28, 1913 in Zimdarse , Pomerania , † April 19, 1987 in Oldenburg in Holstein ) was a German farmer and politician ( CDU ).

Life and work

Storm was born the son of a farmer. After graduating from primary school and attending the humanistic grammar school, he studied agriculture and economics. He was drafted into the Wehrmacht and took part in the Second World War as an officer from 1939 to 1945 . In 1944 he took over the management of his father's farm in Zimdarse.

After the end of the war, Storm moved to West Germany as a displaced person in 1945 , settled in Schleswig-Holstein and in 1950 took over a settlement in Meischenstorf . In addition, he volunteered as a member of the management board and supervisory board in various business organizations. He was also involved in organizations for refugees and was a co-founder of the Pomeranian Landsmannschaft .

Political party

Storm joined the CDU in 1945 and has been chairman of the CDU district association Oldenburg / Holstein since 1951.

After 1945 Storm was a member of the district council of the Oldenburg district .

From 1957 to 1972 he was a member of the German Bundestag . From December 12, 1963 to 1969, he was deputy chairman of the Bundestag committee for expellees and refugees.

Friedrich-Karl Storm moved into the Bundestag in 1957 and 1961 as a directly elected member of the constituency of Oldenburg - Eutin / Süd and then as a directly elected member of the constituency of Plön .
