Siemidarżno ( German  Zimdarse ) is a village in the powiat Gryficki (district of Greifenberg i. Pom.). It is located about seven kilometers southeast of Trzebiatów , 17 km northeast of Gryfice and 86 km northeast of the capital Szczecin .

history

Before 1945 the region belonged to Germany. Three other places belonged to Zimdarse:

  • Forsthaus Grünhaus
  • Forsthaus Hohenholz
  • Jungfernholz forest house

In 1925, 352 people lived in 54 houses with 72 households in Zimdarse. Today around 106 people live in the village. After the Second World War, Poland took over administration under the Potsdam Agreement . The remaining German population was expelled and the Polish population took over the lands they had left behind.
