Post minimum wage

In October 2007, the BdKEP mobilized against the post office minimum wage. On December 12, 2007, he signed a collective agreement with the Union of New Letter and Delivery Services (GNBZ) , as well as the Employers' Association for New Letter and Delivery Services (AGVNBZ), which provides for minimum wages of 6.50 to 7.50 euros per hour.

In addition, the BdKEP has filed a lawsuit against the statutory ordinance on the minimum postage wage according to the Posted Workers Act (AEntG), which came into force on January 1, 2008, at the Berlin Administrative Court. The postal union ver.di together with the postal services employers' association had applied for the minimum postage wage . Ver.di, for its part, announced a lawsuit against the postal companies that are not prepared to pay the postal minimum wage.

In its ruling on January 28, 2010, the Federal Administrative Court finally ruled out the postal minimum wage.

Open Postal Alliance

In May 2014, the BdKEP founded the Open Postal Alliance (OPAL) for the free exchange of knowledge, organization of events, publishing and the development of technology and standards in the field of postal services. She also advocates non-discriminatory access to logistics infrastructure such as B. the parcel box system of DHL .
