The Burdick South Peak ( Bulgarian връх Южен Бурдик wrach Juschen Burdik , German 'Südliche Burdick -spitze ' ) is a 544  m high mountain in the eastern part of Livingston Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It rises 900 m south-southwest of Burdick Peak , 5.26 km east of Sinemorets Hill , 1.5 km northeast of Willan Nunatak and also 1.5 km northwest of Plíska Ridge . The small summit is steep-walled and partly ice-free on the south and north slopes. It is connected to the Willan Nunatak by a flat mountain saddle .

Bulgarian scientists carried out surveys between 1995 and 1996 and named it after its geographical location on Burdick Peak. Its namesake is the American Christopher Burdick († 1831), who visited the South Shetland Islands between 1820 and 1821 as captain of the schooner Huntress from Nantucket . The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names transferred in 1997 the Bulgarian designation into English.
