The Willan nunatak is a 449 m high nunatak on Livingston Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It rises 3.4 km east-northeast of Johnson's Dock on the west side of the Huntress Glacier .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named him in 1991 after Robert Charles Richard Willan (* 1959), geologist of the British Antarctic Survey and from 1985 responsible for the work on the Hurd Peninsula .
