The castle Borberg is an Outbound high medieval motte (Motte) in Leiffarth a district of Geilenkirchen in the Heinsberg district in North Rhine-Westphalia .

The remains of the castle complex are on the "Burgberg" parcel at 81.6 meters above sea level on the edge of the slope to the Beeckfließ .

In 1388 the castle was destroyed during a campaign by Duke Wilhelm II against the Brabant and Burgundians .
