Littstein Castle

The castle Litt stone , even the High Litt stone called, is an Outbound hilltop castle on a 760  m above sea level. NN high rock, the Littstein, above the Trailfinger Gorge near the town of Bad Urach in the Reutlingen district in Baden-Wuerttemberg .

The castle was built in the 13th century, mentioned in 1396 and was already abandoned in the 13th century. The city of Urach and the state of Baden-Württemberg are named as former owners.

Only a remnant of the moat has been preserved from the former castle complex with an arched neck moat and a 32 by 18 meter core castle .
