The castle Sinningen is an Outbound Spur castle on an elongated rectangular 577.6  m above sea level. NN high Spornkuppe 5500 meters north of Erolzheim , 1500 meters southwest of the district of Sinningen in the municipality of Kirchberg an der Iller in the district of Biberach in Baden-Württemberg .

The castle was probably built by the Lords of Sinningen in the 12th century and mentioned in 1127. The lords of Heimertingen and the lords of Freyberg also owned the castle. Nothing has been preserved from the former castle complex.
