The castle Tautenhain , including Castle Städel called, is an Outbound hilltop castle in the town of Tautenhain in Saale-Holzland in Thuringia .

location

The castle that once existed in the Burgstädel has disappeared. It was located about 2000 meters east of the village at 280  m above sea level. NN above the Himmelgrund in what is now the Reichardtsdorf district .

history

It is believed that it was a manor of the landed gentry . Further details are not known.
