Burkhard Neunheuser
Burkhard Gottfried Neunheuser OSB (born December 8, 1903 in Essen , † November 29, 2003 in Andernach ) was a German Roman Catholic liturgical scholar .
Life
The Benedictine monk of Maria Laach Abbey received his doctorate in 1930 and taught theology for many years at the Anselmianum in Rome, where he was professor emeritus and dean of the Pontifical Liturgical Institute from 1972 to 1977. He was an expert on the mystery theology of his fellow brother Odo Casel .
