The Cerro Romero ( Spanish ; in Argentina Cerro Necochea ) is a hill in Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . On the Trinity Peninsula, it rises 8 km south-southwest of Siffrey Point .
Chilean scientists named him after the astronomer Guillermo Romero González, participant in the 2nd Chilean Antarctic Expedition (1947-1948) on the ship Rancagua . The namesake of the Argentine name is the Argentine city of Necochea .
