Services

In 2005 the project around the Gilgamesh epic began , from which a contemporary comic , inspired by ancient oriental art, was to emerge. In 2008 the first “panel” ( panel 0. Gilgamesh's fame ) of the epic appeared in the style of a graphic novel , whereby individual elements of the original clay tablets were incorporated as ornaments. In cooperation with Claudia Hentrich and Kerstin Heymach, Pfister selected from a total of over 400 drawings and assigned them to the twelve panels. The text was developed by Ursula Broicher based on a current translation. All 12 panels have now been published and are also available as a complete volume.
