Busia is the capital of the county of the same name in Kenya. The city is right on the border with Uganda and the Busia district there .
Infrastructure
Busia has exchange offices , a bank, a lending library, restaurants, bars and hotels. From the bus station, buses run several times a day to Bungoma , Kisumu and Nairobi, among others . Alupe Hospital is located in the city next to the Busia District Hospital. The Bungoma diocese of the Roman Catholic Church maintains a nursing home in Busia in addition to several schools.
