Bustos is a small town and a former municipality in Portugal .
history
The parish church of Bustos, the Igreja de São Lourenço , was built in the 18th century.
The independent municipality of Bustos was created in 1920 through a spin-off from the municipality of Mamarrosa .
On July 1, 2003, Bustos was elevated to a small town ( Vila ).
In 2013 Bustos merged with the municipalities of Troviscal and Mamarrosa to form the new municipality of Bustos, Troviscal e Mamarrosa .

Bustos was a municipality ( freguesia ) in the district ( concelho ) of Oliveira do Bairro in the Aveiro district . The community had 2652 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011).

With the territorial reform of September 29, 2013 , the municipalities of Bustos, Troviscal and Mamarrosa were merged to form the new municipality of União das Freguesias de Bustos, Troviscal e Mamarrosa . Bustos is the seat of this newly formed community.
