Butler Island is a predominantly flat island in Prydz Bay on the Ingrid Christensen coast of Princess Elisabeth Land in East Antarctica . It is located between Betts Island and Easther Island in the Larsemann Hills area .
The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named them Paul L. Butler in 1988, head of Mawson Station in 1981 and Davis Station in 1985 and 1987.
