The Butrointsi Point (English; Bulgarian нос Бутроинци nos Butroinzi ) is a non-iced headland on the northeast coast of Two Hummock Island in the Palmer Archipelago off the west coast of the Antarctic Peninsula . It forms 2.55 km southeast of Wauters Point , 7.38 km north of Veyka Point and 31.8 km west to south of Cape Sterneck the southeast side of the entrance to Kotev Cove .
British scientists mapped it in 1978. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2013 after the town of Butroinzi in western Bulgaria .
