Two Hummock Island (from English two hummock 'two ice hills' ) is an ice-covered island in the Palmer Archipelago west of the Antarctic Peninsula . It is located north-south about 8 km south-east of Liège Island .
The island is named for its two striking rocky peaks, which reach a height of 670 m. For more than 100 years the island has borne this name, which has established itself internationally.
