Buurse is a small village in the Dutch province of Overijssel . It belongs to the municipality of Haaksbergen and has 1,430 inhabitants.
history
Near today's Buurse, the area was probably already around 800 BC. Chr. Inhabited. The village of Haaksbergen did not emerge until around 800 AD as a farming settlement on the Buurser Beek river . Buurse is located in the southeast of Haaksbergen, near the German border and is called "Parel van Haaksbergen" ( Pearl of Haaksbergen ) because of the nature reserve, including the Buurserzand.
Buurse has two churches, a Protestant (“Maranatha”) and a Catholic (“Maria Praesentatie”), several restaurants and a Dutch market .
