Buys Ballot Medal
The Buys Ballot Medal ( Dutch Buys Ballot Medal ) is awarded once per decade by the Royal Netherlands Academy of Sciences in honor of Christoph Buys Ballot to personalities who have made outstanding achievements in the field of meteorology .
