Buzalkovo ( Cyrillic . Бузалково, alban. Buzallkovë / Buzallkova ) is a village in central Macedonia about 12 km northwest of the city of Veles . The place has 1,273 inhabitants and politically belongs to the municipality of Veles .

It is located at an altitude of 500 meters above sea level. There is a first aid point, a primary school (up to eighth grade), a post office and shops. Buzalkovo is almost exclusively populated by Albanians . Otherwise hardly any Albanians live in the vicinity, with the exception of a few families in the city of Veles. The main economic basis of the place is the tobacco cultivation .

In 1961 the place had 605 inhabitants, the majority of whom were Turks . After most of the Turks were resettled in Turkey , the majority of the population is Albanian.
