César Borba

César Borba (full name: César Ramón Borba Tadeo ) (* 1912 in Mercedes, Argentina , † 1979 in Montevideo ) was a Uruguayan politician and diplomat .

General César Borba, who belonged to the Partido Colorado , held the position of Chief Commander of the Army ("Comandante en jefe del ejército"). Borba was Minister of Defense of Uruguay from April 17, 1970 to April 2, 1971. He then held the post of Ambassador of Uruguay to Peru from February 1, 1972 to February 20, 1973 .
