César Díaz Martínez (born January 5, 1987 in Villamalea ) is a Spanish football player .

Career

Díaz began his career at Albacete Balompié . From 2004 he also played there for the second team in the Tercera División . In December 2005 he made his debut for the professionals in the Segunda División against the CD Numanica . In January 2008 he was awarded to the third division CD Alcoyano . For Alcoyano he completed ten games by the end of the season, in which he was able to score a goal.

In January 2009 Díaz moved to third division club FC Zamora . After only six months, he moved to Sangonera Atlético CF in the summer of 2009 . For Sangonera he completed 33 games in the 2009/10 season, in which he scored 15 goals. After Sangonera was dissolved, he joined UD Almería B , the second team of UD Almería , in the summer of 2010 .

In 2011 Díaz switched to CD Teruel . For Teruel, he completed 33 games in the 2011/12 season, in which he netted seven times. For the 2012/13 season he joined UD Melilla . In the summer of 2013 he returned to Albacete Balompié, which had since been relegated to the Segunda División B. With Albacete he was promoted to the Segunda División after just one season. After two seasons in the second-highest Spanish division, you had to relegate to the Segunda División B again in 2015/16.

In August 2016, Díaz moved to the third division Racing Santander . After two and a half years at Santander, it was awarded to the CD Castellón in January 2019 . For Castellón he completed 18 third division games by the end of the season, in which he scored eight goals. After the end of the loan, he first returned to Santander, which had since been promoted to the Segunda División. In August 2019 he was permanently signed by Castellón and received a contract that runs until June 2022.
