CAPS United

CAPS United is a Zimbabwean football club based in Harare .

The club was founded in 1973 and quickly became one of the most successful clubs in what was then Rhodesia . The club won the championship four times and the national cup nine times. In 1982 and 1983 they reached the quarter-finals in the African Cup Winners' Cup , which is their greatest success so far. In recent years, the success failed and the club had to play against relegation from the first division several times.
